  1. I envy the number of batteries you players have saved up...but then I would look at the number of batteries I used and the number of batteries I have now and it would total to about 1881 batteries right now. I wish I had 1k+ batteries. Some guys have more than 30k batteries and I'm here sitting on 615.

I'll still stay by the Vulcan's side. I just have to hope that enemies would come after us and I could get some score and EXP.

Been happening here as well. My OCD usually kicks in when this happens and I'm inclined to press 2. This usually happens to me when I receive an Overdrive. I suppressed my urges to press 2 one time and observed me being hit while it was like that. It seemed like it was active. As far as I remember, all 3 supply icons would blink when the speed boost and double damage are about to finish and they all disappear at the bottom. I'll have to investigate that ahnd report back here if no one does in time.

Heh, don't look at it like that. Think of it like this. Have you ever had a smoky hit the side of your tank at almost point blank range? Now compare that to a Smoky hitting you from the red base in Highways while you're in the blue base. You'd notice a difference in the impact force. It doesn't show where the impact force drop off occurs anywhere but it is definitely there. Keep your enemies in the minimum damage range and you shouldn't have to worry about it. No, I just searched and there isn't anything posted on Impact Force. Plus, a lot of the in-game mechanics have changed yet they haven't updated it. It is just observable in the game. I observe it every day when a Thunder tries to shoot me from across the map in Highways ASL and Magistral or just across the map in general. Ever noticed that when you are very far away from the enemy Vulcan and when it starts shooting, your tank is still stable enough to drive properly compared to being shot with it in close - mid range? Like that.

    Let's Discuss Augments

There are some times where I would be hit by one projectile and not many at the same time. I always take an opportunity to look at that because I use the High-pressure pump alteration on Firebird (I recommend it) on my lower account and I cannot afford to lose aim to impact force especially since I use Viking most of the time there. Sometimes the single Twins or Ricochet shot would lightly touch my tank and sometimes, they would B-slap my tank; at close range as well as far range (according to the range of the Short ranged turrets). Sometimes, the impact force feels genuine in a case of shooting a speeding wasp on the turret mounted on the wasp. The wasp would tilt to the side if a Smoky, Railgun, Thunder or Hammer shoot them and they would be accurate. Hammer and Railgun both have the higher impact forces of the group of 4 and they are both similar. They would tilt the Wasp almost to the point of flipping over. The Thunder and Smoky would tilt it but not to the extent of the Hammer or Railgun. In that case, it is accurate. Other situations, however, it seems that it varies. Yes, the Impact force is affected by range but only for certain turrets. Railgun's impact force isn't affected by range. Magnum's impact force isn't to an extent. Shaft's impact force shows the impact force of a fully charged scoped shot. Smoky's regular shot's impact force is affected by range but I'm not sure about the critical shot's impact force. I remember for a Haloween event some time ago (It was probably in 2016 or 2017, where I did 41 critical hit damage from across the map to someone. The critical hit's impact force back then was affected by the range but I don't think that's the case now. I'll have to experiment with that one. For now, I'm assuming the range doesn't matter since the damage is constant no matter the range so it would make sense that the impact force isn't affected.

    Challenges are here!

It doesn't matter because the Battle pass does not increase the number of stars you earn in a battle. Only Premium does that. So in the scenario you described above, you would still get up to 6 stars each battle.

I've felt this way for more than 2 years. I just didn't care to investigate it back then. Recently though, I've been noticing it. I could be wrong but let's see how it actually is. One thing that sucks is that you can't give an estimate as to the impact force the turret has because you can't see the upgrades it has and the Gear Score could be lower than expected because they have no supplies or it could be higher than expected because they have paints, drones, XTs etc. Thanks, Gear Score. <_<

Somehow, I don't feel that the impact force numbers are accurate. I get way more impact force from a single shot of a Twins projectile than a smoky projectile. I get more Impact Force from an M1 Thunder shot than an M1 Railgun shot yet Railgun M1 has more impact force. Can someone help me to disagree? I want to believe that the numbers are accurate but I'm finding it hard to believe that the numbers are accurate.

With all this stuff about Duplet being better than Stock Hammer, I'll have to say that Stock Hammer only has one advantage over Duplet and I explained it in post #608. Even with that, it is ONLY ONE advantage. Duplet takes the cake with everything else. It was a good concept that I think was intentionally pushed too far. For the past 3 days, every Hammer I saw had Duplet, no matter the mode. No one had Slugger, no one had Dragon's Breath; hell, no one even had Adaptive Reload. EVERYONE had Duplet. I hate what this has turned people into. Making them buy Hammer Protection just to survive. Stock Hammer can't compete efficiently when brought up against protection. Firebird can easily do that. Thunder can do it to an extent but Hammer just cannot right now.

Absolutely fantastic direction, I love it

I hope not. I don't like to prioritise attacking when I'm playing Isida. If it becomes the super killer of the season and there are more protections against it, then I wouldn't be able to even survive on my own. I wouldn't give in to the fad unless the crystal cost for the alteration is relatively cheap. (sayyyy 35-45k) Isida doesn't have a lot Protection Modules against it. When they nerf Isida then it will struggle as a turret trying to defend itself because of the many protections and the fact that it could only attack one player at a time. If they did that then it punishes people who use the turret for its purpose and not getting into the fad. Firebird players are gonna get punished when it gets nerfed. How demotivating would it be to be an Isida and see that most of your team has protection against you? It makes you seem dangerous and something to fear and that is bad for some people who use the gun to help their teammates. I feel bad already when more than half my team has protection against Isida. It would be even worse when almost the whole team has it.

Broadband Emitters (I hate saying Radiators -_-) is the only alteration that seems worth it and viable for almost all situations. Support Nanobots is good for mainly PRO battles and Nanomass Reactor is just garbage.

    Let's Discuss Striker!

At the M3 tier, you can one-shot any unprotected light hull and, if you're lucky, an unprotected M2 Viking with minimal upgrades. I often think that M2 Hunter has more HP than M2 Viking just because of how it looks but I always forget that that isn't true because of how often I one-shot a Hunter M2 with minimal upgrades.

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

So they nerfed it behind our backs? Wow. What sense did it make? As far as we're concerned, if Compact Tanks and Incendiary Mix changed places, it would make soooooo much sense. If they were trying to hide this and hoped that no one noticed...then my trust for them has declined a good bit. If this was some kind of mix up, they would have no excuse as to not seeing the gameplay and statistics that have occurred because of it. Worst of all, it's centred around a currently controversial turret.

    Ideas for Augments!

I've seen a hacker using Striker in the test server where could he/she could have locked onto me without the laser touching my tank. You can see the laser but the guy/gal had it pointing straight into the air and the missiles were shot up then levelled out in the air and impacted on the wall I was hiding behind. The person was also using the Cyclone alterations and there didn't seem to be a decreased target acquisition time. It's called the "Test Server" after all. Maybe some people use that to test new hacks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Let's Discuss Firebird!

You'd be surprised. In Polygon CPs a team with at least 3 Firebirds will win (mainly because it is a relatively small map). Sometimes one team may contain as many as 7 Firebirds with at least half of them with Compact Tanks. The 300 tick damage is simply too much. In MM battles, half of the team aren't Firebirds but there are usually 2 or 3 of them, even in big maps. Railgun, like Isida and Shaft, is a turret that comes across various struggles when put against protection against it. Thunder is easy to use which may be a reason why it is common. Thunder is only balanced because there are many protections against it. Why do you think the price for M1 and M2 Thunder are one of the highest for Turrets? The damage output is heavy (when used against its respective modification tier of Hulls) and is rewarding to use given its mechanics and protection modules control that. Railgun is also fun to use and is rewarding to use. For Isida, people often forget (and sometimes, don't make an effort to remember) that Isida is also a supportive turret. Isida has to defend itself somehow; this is why the damage output is so high coupled with a fast energy drain. Isida can't always win a 1 v 1 against a Firebird. What a lot of people do is picture them just staring at each other face to face and then start shooting. You can't only use that example when trying to put Turret vs Turret. You have the make the situation realistic. Most of the time, I am usually spotted by a Firebird, and vice versa, when my energy is about half-way spent. Let's just say that the Firebird spots me (and vice versa) when I'm at full energy. What makes you think that the Firebird would just stand in front of me and shoot. They wouldn't do that(usually but there are some exceptions ). They would try to circle me. Isidas have a problem where their beam would be attached to the enemy but they wouldn't be doing damage as the beam, on the Firebirds' screen, isn't attached to them. This causes precious energy from the Isida to be wasted which is very much needed to kill the Firebird. If they were to go head-on, the Isida would kill the Firebird first but the afterburn would inevitably kill the Isida right after. Firebird has a faster reload than Isida which would mean if they both ran out of ammo earlier than expected, the Firebird would almost always come out on top. Isida isn't very much more powerful than Firebird as people might think. In terms of direct damage done by attacking the enemy in a classic Tanki scenario, the results would be: M0: Same damage. M1: Isida has more damage by about 200. ( obviously because Isida M1 costs more than Firebird M1) M2: Firebird has more damage by about 300. (obviously because Firebird M2 costs more than Isida M2) M3: Same damage. M4: Same damage. So they have the same damage in 3 tiers. Let's assume that the HP of the hull they are using equals the total damage they do. If Isida just so misses one tick of damage in those tiers, the Firebird would come out victorious. It is easy for Isida's beam to lose focus. It's not so easy for Firebird to lose focus since it has a bigger cone angle. What I'm trying to say is that Firebird comes out on top compared to Isida. For Freeze, it's a bit different. Usually, Freeze would come out on top almost dead or die by the last tick of fire damage because it minimises the damage it takes by circling the Firebird and freezing it. The Firebird usually gets in a good amount of damage and afterburn on the Freeze but it usually kills the freeze just before the Firebird dies or just after the Firebird dies. Freeze has good damage. The 2nd best direct damage out of all the melee ranged turrets. It's weird because usually freezing weapons deal the least direct damage compared to other ones which is how it was but that got changed. Freeze's effectiveness gets decreased a good bit when met with protection against it but Firebird's effectiveness isn't as decreased as Isida or Freeze when met with protection against it. That is a reason why we complain about Firebird more than Isida or Freeze. This could have been longer but I have stuff to do right now so gotta make it more concise than it needs to be.

Why did you make an alt on Tanki?

Back when I first started playing, I made new accounts everytime I got into the game. The reason why was that the link I would use to get into the game would be the one for registration. I would enter my username yet it would always say it was taken so I needed to make a new one every time. At that point, I had probably made more than 15 accounts but I only remember the names of 5 of them right now. After some time, I had realised that the login button was right there so I did that and stuck with the first account I ever made. Right now, that account is at the rank of Staff Sergeant. The main reason would be that I want to have constant experiences in each Modification tier for Turrets, Hulls, Protection Modules etc. I have more than 10 functioning accounts (some more well off than others) right now but the ones I like to use currently occupy the M1 and M3 tier. The most recent account I made was used to test how effective a Recruit can take Meteor Golds during the 24th and 31st of December last year (*chuckles*). Turns out it's not so easy unless you have a speed hack like more than a quarter of the full players in the battle have. So for now, If I would make new accounts, it would be to test stuff at the M0 level and the others I have were for comfortability throughout the ranks instead of being isolated in one tier.

    Let's Discuss Striker!

On the 31st, in the New Year map, I was timing my enemies right and sending out missiles early for them the directly drive into the missiles. I remember two guys using light hulls called me a hacker because I did that to them. Honestly, I love the speed of Uranium missiles. I thought it was slow at first but the heavily decreased speed makes it even more satisfying when you see an enemy drive into them from mid-long range.

When I say they are tied to each other, I mean in the sense of an Isida healing their teammate. When I'm healing my teammates, I don't get EXP without getting score, whether it be MM or PRO battles. If I don't get score, I don't get EXP. That's what I meant when I said they were tied.
