Support Nanobots didn't get a major buff. Compared to the old Isida with Support Nanobots, it only gives 377 more HP for a fully depleted bar. In technicality, it's a buff. In practicality, it's a nerf.

I don't like that they switched the number of containers for weekly and regular containers. To add salt to the wound, I would have gotten 2 containers after the server update. Lucky me. <_< Edit: Yup, just great. <_< <_< <_<

Support Nanobots doesn't seem to be any more worth it. It's a technical upgrade but in practice, it's a nerf. The entire change to Isida was a nerf. So am I. I've already come to terms with the change with the mentality that this is the new Firebird and it will stay like this for more than a year. Just try to be optimistic and maybe you'll get through this tough time against them. You have Fire protection with at least 25%. You can survive a Compact Tanks who barely touched you for a second. I barely make it with about 100 health remaining or die from the last tick in that situation since I'm a fat piece of Titan meat ready to be roasted without protection.

Sigh, I didn't know what to say about Isida's changes. I care more about healing than attacking and now they're making the medic focus on attacking. They lowered the healing by almost half (I remember M4 Isida doing 770 healing per second) and I felt personally attacked. It's great that they gave an extra second for attacking but come on! I'm healing half my usual HP just to deal 1 second more damage. Wow Running some easy numbers, M4 Isida has considerably less healing for a full gauge now. Old Isida M4: 7,700 HP New isida M4: 5,000 HP Now, I can't be a proper healer without having the Support Nanobots alteration. I have to give up my damage just to get back my old healing!! I can't be in the middle, NO, I HAVE to pick a side: Damage or Healing. I don't want to focus on attacking! I am a medic! A medic is supposed to be healing his teammates while attacking enemies to help those teammates! Why are you forcing the medic to go to the front lines?!?! I said to myself immediately, "Yeah, I'm definitely buying Support Nanobots, I don't even have a choice anymore." But then I did some calculations and it wouldn't even be that worth it to buy it. Old M4 Isida with the former Support nanobots alteration healed 962.5 health per second for 10 seconds which would heal 9,625 health for a fully depleted gauge. The new M4 Isida with it the new Support Nanobots heals 800 health per second for 12.5 seconds which would heal 10,000 health for a fully depleted gauge. It gives more healing but that healing is so spread out now and it doesn't even give that much more healing to make up for the spread. Not to mention that your damage is going to be halved so you basically have to depend on your teammate to defend you. I hope with this update that there won't be too many new Isida modules. People like me who want to heal and use Support Nanobots will suffer even greater trying to defend ourselves against them. I have to give up half my damage just to get relatively less healing per second than the old Isida now. Vulcans are gonna have to suffer a bit for now because there's only so much that I can do now. This caring Isida might just have to convert to the common offensive Isida and leave my allies to die. "I'm sorry allies, you'll just be using up energy my precious destroyer nanobots could be using."

The only thing I was worried about was my Repair Kit count. It went under 300 once but I kept getting at least 800 crystals every battle I did so I bought 100 Repair Kits. It gave me an incentive to play MM even when I didn't have any missions. Thanks to that, I had met a Legend who I remember years ago when he was only Major and Colonel. I also wanted to earn an animated paint instead of getting one from a container. I had around 600 stars and then I got 3 days of premium from a container so that also gave me the will to complete it.
-
I remember when I used to get that message. Now, you may get this:
-
I already have Slugger. I don't use Stock Hammer. Slugger is great for No-Supply battle but in MM, it can be a real drawback when put against supplies and fast-moving hulls.
-
I earned more than 300 stars just by doing only DM battles for 8 hours straight and about for an hour later that day.
-
3,500 crystals 125 Speed Boosts
-
I got a load of crystals from doing DM battles for hours trying to get 1028 stars for the LEDs paint while I had premium. I have enough to buy any alteration I want and I was considering buying Adaptive Reload for the Hammer. Obviously, right now, Duplet would be the better pick but I'm not following that trend. I will continue to partially enjoy it in the test server ("partially", because it feels wrong to use, like it's an ability that shouldn't be in the game) although I would rather use Shaft or Isida. I was thinking that the next discounts might be on Valentine's Day and I should wait for that to see if they would be any sales on alterations. I'm still sceptical about buying High-Capacity Drum. You may not have to have used it before but do you think Adaptive Reload is worthy of being purchased for 200k crystals right now?
-
Why is it written as an "upgrade" or a "pro" for the alteration then? Why not keep it in white text instead of red or green?
-
Two days? Do you mean 24 hours?
-
It'll increase the angular velocity then? The price suits it. For me, the angular velocity of Stock Striker is good enough. This would really only be helpful at close range since at far range, the angular velocity of the rockets would already steer the rockets into the tank without a problem.
-
Back on one of my founding accounts, I was attracted to the turret for the reasons that it was a scoped-sniper and the fact that the price was over 1,000 crystals. It wasn't as expensive as Ricochet at 1,900 or Isida at 1,800 but it was still something. I had actually planned on buying Hammer but I ended up with a bit more crystals than I thought I would have had (about 1,400) so I bought Shaft thinking that the more expensive the turret, the better it is. I encountered many Shafts on that account and I saw that a lot of them had a laser. I always shot Arcade shots because I didn't know how to get the laser. I wanted to get the laser really bad. I didn't know the Forum or the Wiki existed back then so I just kept doing something until I got the laser. About 2 weeks later, I had accidentally held down the spacebar and I got this new looking thing that looked awesome. I took my hand off of it and did it immediately as I came out but I realised a little after that my energy needed to be full. I started experimenting with it and I was finally able to one-shot some hulls. I kept using it because I felt like I had a silent role in the team - a support sniper. I would make sure the attackers escaped from the enemy base with their flag unharmed as much as possible. It was really satisfying to help out my team like that. I also talked to fellow Shafts in the battle back then (Ah the good old days when no one was toxic). I had an account that I used Shaft on. I don't use it anymore though. I regularly use Shaft on the Test Server because I miss being a sniper. As an added note, Shaft's sniper mode with mouse controls is honestly fun. I love that you could hold the laser still while moving the camera around a bit; that really helps in many situations.

Nah, I see plethorae of Vikings, Hunters and Hornets on the battlefield. I occasionally see a heavy hull but they aren't abundant, at least when I'm there. I love the speed decrease. It makes the rockets feel more smooth. Lets me time my shots better and they won't zip past the enemy right before they come out. It's easy to dodge the homing missiles with a light hull or Viking (Hunter to an extent). Get close to them then drive horizontally and the missiles won't have enough angular velocity to curve into the tank in time. Smart players do me that every time.
-
To be honest, the projectile speed decrease is a harsh one.

Ouch. You are right; I don't know what a Thunder user, like yourself, goes through. However, I somewhat have a say in this as I am on the receiving end of the spectrum. Thunders regularly deal with protection modules but that is what keeps them in check. The same for Firebird, you need protection against it so it won't slaughter you. Thunder is easy to use and yields great results on average. I see so many Thunders in the low ranks (WO1-4) and they do very good compared to my Striker that more than usually gets 2nd place to them. I wonder why they choose a Thunder Kit and not a Striker Kit. I wonder why they choose a Thunder Kit and not a Hammer Kit. I wonder why they choose a Thunder Kit and not a Ricochet Kit. It's just too good compared to the other turrets. Protection modules are a must to keep it balanced. It's already hard enough for s to stay alive as the firing rate and the weak damage is good, we would have to deal with even more damage from far away. Do you really want to be a Wasp and just get one-shotted without knowing where the shot came from? What I'm trying to get at is that Thunder shouldn't have an alteration that increases its damage. It would not be good for balance.
-
It would have made more sense to just leave that out. Even if they didn't leave it out, it would have made more sense to say "Maximum Temperature Limit =100%" NOT +100%. Obviously, this is causing confusion. I'm tired of being touched by drugged-up Compact Tanks for 0.5 seconds and then dying a slow death in MM battles. I don't have much (by my standards) Repair Kits left. I don't like that a Compact Tanks Firebird can kill me with all of its ammo and then recharge quickly to kill another medium or light hull right after. In TDM, it's simply too much to handle.
-
You want Thunders to have the ability to one-shot medium hulls? Why? With this alteration, you can one-shot a Light Hull with only the new Minimum Damage. A shot of that every 3.45 seconds would wreak havoc among the players who don't have or use protection against Thunder. Sledgehammer is already enough.
-
Compact Tanks doesn't increase your direct damage so Firebird only has 2. I can only identify High-Capacity Drum and Dragon's Breath for Hammer as the ones increasing damage. Ricochet's Minus-Field Stabilisation would work with the same logic as High-Pressure Pump so Ricochet has one. Unstable plasma doesn't directly increase damage. Striker only has one which is Uranium. Cyclone doesn't count since each rocket does the same amount of damage. I don't like to count Vulcan's Incendiary Band because it directly decreases the damage but you're talking about the afterburn effect and the afterburn effect currently is better than a 10% damage nerf can take away. Thunder may not have one that increases its damage per shot but Sledgehammer does increase its DPM. Hyperspace rounds should've stayed an idea and not become an implementation. It just makes no logical sense to me. Railgun has 3. I would argue that Magnum has none. Automated Gunpowder Loading Mechanism doesn't increase the damage each shot does. Mortar's damage is directly decreased and the only way to deal "increased damage" is to miss the target (which would not do much damage to surrounding enemies thanks to the average splash damage added to Magnum last year) and hope one person touches the mine. The mine only affects one person and not the group so I'd say that Mortar doesn't increase the damage unless it's in a 1 v 1.

Double Damage doubles the heating rate of the Firebird and probably the freezing rate of Freeze. For freeze, I've been trying to notice a difference but it's hard to tell. With or without double damage, it seems like I'm being frozen in the same amount of time. With Compact tanks, you just need to hit the enemy for 3 ticks of Direct Fire damage and they will reach the maximum temperature. With double damage, this is why a compact tanks Firebird can hit you for 1 or 2 ticks and you are already at maximum temperature. Also, why does it say that the "Maximum Temperature Limit +100%" doesn't increase the temperature limit to 2? What is the point of having that there then? Is it to persuade people into buying the alteration because they see 2 pros and 1 con instead of 1 pro and 1 con? The page doesn't give us that information.

What Is Your Opinion About the Current State of Tanki Online?

Ha. Got into a MM battle that my team immediately started dominating making half the enemy team leave. At 6 flags, A gold was gonna drop but then the Fire-Viking capped the flag before it could drop with the parachute. It happens so fast it was over as soon as it started. You certainly don't see that fast-paced turn of events often.
