I had two other ping images but they were erased. The Forum is as laggy and unpredictable as the game. Like everyone else I keeping asking myself what went wrong ? I did not have any problems 4 months ago. CRAZY IVAN is correct. It's all about the ping. It is a NO WIN SITUATION for me. It's time to shop around for another game located in my country ... this time.

See Below Ditto. I am located in the USA. Once I enter Europe the ping rates drop, download and upload speeds drop immediately, and in general everything just slows to a crawl. I think it's the fact that most of the European countries, and especially the Russians, are still using the old coaxial cable type of lines. That junk just eats up the fiber optics system we are using in the USA. It is a no win situation until the Europeans change over to fiber optics cable. Tanki's only options are to locate servers in other areas of the world, especially the US. The fibers optics here could handle massive amounts of data and return it with very few problems regardless of locations. Just my opinion. I have also did a 180 degree turn around on the rebalance. It has just turned into another "kiddie shoot 'em up game" on the internet. Smoky's with unlimited range with no loss of HP, Twins with no diminished HP over distances, all kinds of weapons firing at 45 degree and 90 angles, firing through walls, blah, blah,blah. The physics stink !! The rebalance has destroyed NSB. They are filled with newbies with overpowered weapons and no idea how to use them. TWINS need a RECHARGE time too !!! That incessant noise just destroys the game. Hold down the space bar and shoot the entire game. What a joke !!!

You need to pay more attention to what your read; if you are capable of it. I rarely complain about Tanki. This topic doesn't really relate to you. I seriously doubt if you could get this version of TTT to run or for that matter any other version of TTT. You need to stick to making "kiddie topics" and leave the adults to their business. Here's some chat for you, FBI. Most English users have survived rebalance, price hikes, nerfed weapons, and lags with the minimum of complaints. It's time we got some extras, and I don't mean a Hunter ... junk. Replace Inferno with Flame. Inferno has and will always look like a paint job for an American HOT ROD from the 1950's. Soiko has released a Test/Beta version of his Tank Testing Tool. You can get it here: http://ru.tankiforum...howtopic=163005 It includes a paint called Flame. I wish we had gotten it instead of Picasso. Could it be coming in the future ?? If you have any problems with the program you will need to consult someone other than myself. I don't speak Russian. Maybe someone in the English Forum that speaks Russian can help you out. Be advised ... don't post English comments in the Russian forum. Good luck.

Update I have changed my mind about the RAIL GUN. It is a WORTHLESS CHUNK OF JUNK !!! Within the last 3 days something has happened to the RAIL GUN. It appears that it has been NERFED or has some SERIOUS PHYSICS PROBLEMS. Here are a few of the problems I have encountered to date: Every 10 to 15 shots the turret will swing wildly and not stop at the aiming point. No. It isn't lag this time. Every 10 to 15 shots the turret will refuse to rotate while the tank is moving. I don't camp with the RAIL GUN. This a BIG MINUS. HP fluctuates wildly. Tanks that should have been destroyed, even at the lowest HP, aren't being destroyed. Long distance shots going high or low of the target resulting in a miss. Rotating the turret results in turning the hull too. If I wanted to rotate the hull I would do it myself. More missed shots !! Overall performance ... BAD !!! The RAIL GUN was fun to play after the rebalance until these problems starting occurring on a frequent basis. You can watch the vid in the OP if you want to see what the performance was like just a few days ago. I am a terrible shot with the RAIL GUN, but it was fun to use and I enjoyed using it. Not any more. You might want to use caution if you are in the market for a RAIL GUN. Do your research and make a wise choice. I am not the ONLY ONE with this problem. If you decide to respond: I like the rebalance !!! If you have rebalance complaints please use the COMPLAINTS section. Is this a complaint ?? Not really a complaint, more like a question. No techno babble, no overused references to "how to fix it", no "it's lag" references, blah, blah, blah. Until I see an improvement in the RAIL GUN; I will consider it a WORTHLESS CHUNK OF JUNK. Form your own opinions. I repeat ... I am a terrible shot with the RAIL GUN; but even a bad hunter has a good day every once in a while.

In case you didn't know it, this is the BRAINS behind Tankionline: http://alternativaplatform.com/en/ . They have some very nice demos and lots of free software on the site. It doesn't appear to me that they are out to "scam" anyone out of their money or their time. It is a professional company being ran by PROFESSIONALS. I am sure they are making every effort to solve the LAG PROBLEM. They don't have to be told that it is bad for business and I am certain they are working as quickly as possible to solve it. The OP started the topic in good faith and made some reasonable points. It started out as a topic to discuss ideas and exchange info until the MUD SLINGERS showed up. Thanks to their input it has turned into yet another WHINE AND MOAN FESTIVAL. This is the reason I rarely participate in these topics. They eventually turn into a big waste of time. I am willing to wait a reasonable length of time for the lag issue to be solved. Right now, even with the lags, Tanki is a lot of fun for me. Once it stops being FUN ... I'm out of here. I am aware of and know how to use ping, traceroute, etc. etc.. I know about cloud-ix.net and datahouse.ru and the associated information. These are SERVICE PROVIDERS for Tankionline. These locations are where my Mbps, ping rate, etc., etc. begins to DROP rapidly. It truly isn't Tankionline's fault. It's their SERVICE PROVIDER. Perhaps they should look into getting another one other than the aforementioned. This company advertises as: "Today we have a network with a well-developed infrastructure and a successful data-centers in Russia, Ukraine and abroad.".

We all know that rank and time on Tanki rarely has anything to do with skill in the game. I have always thought that Rank was secondary to Skill anyway. I'll take skill over rank any day of the week.

I read your post. It was very interesting. If Russian players aren't suffering from lag, then I definitely have a problem with Tanki. I'm a BUYER and when I pay I expect to get 100% in services rendered. I also expect to get the same service and quality as any other user, regardless of location. If you can verify that Russians get NO LAG then I can support your complaint. Lag has definitely gotten to be a problem for me in NSB. I thought everyone was experiencing lag. There are usually a lot of Russian players in NSB. I don't know whether they complain or not since I don't speak the language and can't read the chat.
