    Is there anyone actually playing custom battles these days? I play a lot less - basically do missions on 1 account per month and log off.

    Without AP immunity the dome is useless.. Can't move - so you are an easy target. And many of the ODs cancel or ignore it. AP immunity is a must for Titan. Would be silly to have that and not equip it. Otherwise the dome is only useful as a counter.
  3. well I don't see how they can puff it up much more without looking too obvious. A freeze can kill my Hunter faster than it can activate the OD. That's just stupid.
  4. Frreze is way OP - especially when combined with Hornet OD. Why the heck do they give it 400% critical damage????
  5. It's just like the miner drone. Have it at 5 or 6 - no way I'm spending crystals on it when it doesn't even do what it's supposed to. Might as well have Saboteur - and that's the drone that causes all the problems. They killed the wrong drone.
  6. So if they freeze we assume the damage dealt back will not e double? Can't tell. They were still doing lots of damage to me. AP on defense... well it's easy to tell cuz the target almost always dies.
  7. Nope. It does not. I played my smoky with cryo - froze targets but it did NOT remove the boosted damage.

  9. There will be longer waiting times either way. Why do you think the lower ranks are currently grouped in with higher ranks? Not enough players. Same issue will happen if GS is used instead. But no one has answered my question - why would buyers spend $$ with a GS system?
  10. Just played on one of the dumbest teams of all time. 5-1 lead in Siege. Then team decides to play only TDM. Maybe 3 of us trying to cap while 6 or 7 of the enemy keep capping. Game ends 5-5. ?

  12. Well... why not scrap the idea above and do the opposite? REDUCE the current rank spreads and voila - you will not have a paring of 3000 vs 9999 unless the 3000 player totally messed up their account and has that 3000 at Commander. Then that's their fault and they should just start over.
  13. What do you expect when launching upward at the same time as firing a salvo that has a big recoil. Makes perfect sense to me. here's a tip - don't use the OD while firing a turret with big recoil...
  14. 2 HUGE problems with your idea... 1) Why would anyone upgrade their equipment to the next "bracket"? All they get for that is tougher competition. 2) Why would "buyers" spend $$ on the game? All that gets them is a battle against... players with the exact same equipment.
  15. Doubling a small amount likely won't have a huge effect. I want it to be like when vulcan was first introduced. Now that was awesome. Like twins now - but from a long distance.
  16. So freeze turret is getting the same bonus as the cryo augments... as if Freeze hornet wasnt already OP...
  17. Highest GS wont work either. If you upgrade ONE combo at the expense of others you will punished by having to play Legends just because you have 2 or 3 modules at mk7 with turret hull mk7 too. ALL they have to do is tighten up the rank-spreads. The mk-rank limits will take care of the rest. It IS that simple. Me playing Brigadiers is just dumb.

  19. First of all - I already "understand" - you accomplished nothing with your posts. And for some reason you are doubling down with DarkPredators misconception that I hate buyers. It's not factual at all. I dislike the direction TO is taking the game with the many, many OP updates that have changed the game so much it's barely worth playing. The Devs purposely introduce OP aspects of the game (that are in no way balanced). These aspects totally take the fun out of battles and that is why many players have left.

    Tackling Hopper in CTF.

    Hoppers strafing ability more than offsets that. It can also start it's turn before it gets to it's destination - basically swiveling in place. The players who've practiced with it a lot have overcome the deficiencies you speak of. It might have a steep learning curve, but once that's overcome it is basically an OP hull. Like I said - the hovering hulls have ruined the capping modes. I used to favor them - now I stay away.

    Tackling Hopper in CTF.

    WIKI says Hopper has same acceleration as Wasp so it can't be that bad. It can strafe so any "projectile weapon" has a decent chance of missing. I may not be an expert but I'm not a noob either - and they are hard to target. Hunter augment wont be doing enough damage unless it gets lucky with a critical - and - it still needs a lock-on on the hull. It's not like they are always playing massacre or desert. Hopper + Crisis or Hopper + Tickster still ruins any capping mode. Those modes are just awful to play now. Most players are just spectators watching the hovering hulls - including Paladin now - play their own game.
